HMS Terror, one of Sir John Franklin's two ships lost in the doomed 1845 Franklin Expedition, has been found in Nunavut's Terror Bay, over 90 kilometres south of where the ship was believed to have been abandoned.

    Also, the ship appears to be in decent shape unlike the submarines you folks bought from the Brits. I say raise it and put it back in service! :mrgreen:

    I wonder if the HMS Upholder crews cooked and et each other, too. Ths Royal Navy has had a ongoing issue with cannibalism.

    Cannibalism? Kind of makes all their traditional buggery below decks appear quaint in comparison.

    A great find. And a stroke of luck too. Apparently, one of the crew remembered seeing something interesting in the waters of Terror Bay some years ago and after taking a slight detour on their course, they found the wreck.
