They're encouraging people to have their own CCTV systems to help catch burglars.
Now they just need to take it the next step and encourage people to have their own means of defense against burglars as the UK variant of burglary is the so-called 'hot burglary' which in most of North America is called a "home invasion". They're usually violent and sometimes lethal to the victims who are left totally defenseless by their government.
The UK is fast becoming a failed useless nation full of wimpy pansies. I can't believe they would even recommend anything so idiotic, Scotland Yard has already published reports over the last two years indicating that the current CCTV system in the UK has done NOTHING to reduce ANY form of crime.
so? so what? it was hailed as a crime reduction and prevention tool, not an after the fact clean up tool.
That doesn't mean squat to me, police are inevitability there to clean up and investigate AFTER the crime takes place.
It fly's right in the face of the very reason they spent millions and millions of CCTV system that their own national police have admitted it has done "little to nothing' to reduce crime rates.
