Ontario Provincial Police seized 4,400 cans of beer from a Waterloo, Ont. home on Sunday morning, ahead of a St. Patrick's Day party.

    4400 cans of beer, valued at 5500 dollars. Wish it was that cheap in NL. About 2 dollars a beer here.. :(

    Four students may be charged, as the law states that no one can sell liquor without a permit.

    Good luck. No one sold anything without a permit.
    They may have wanted to, but didn't get the chance.
    I don't think it is illegal to have beer in your house? Even an exorbitant amount of cans...

    Also... Don't you have more important things to do than arrest people for not having a permit for something that is a future thing? Geesh.

    The first place I moved into when I moved out of my parents' home had cases and cases of empties stacked along the walls in the basement.
    They actually paid a month's rent to the tune of almost $425 :rock:

    Unless of course they've decided that Minority Report was a real event and someone at the Waterloo Police Dept can tell the future by lying in a hot tub 24/7. :P
