Ottawa police charged a 32-year-old Ottawa man on Saturday in connection with the stabbing of a Russian diplomat near his country's embassy.

    Apparently Mr. Martin is a DND civilian employee, a soldier in the army reserves, and of Ukrainian descent.

    Much as I disagree with the USSR Light's Anschluss of the Crimea, it's clowns like this that do nothing more than inflame an already tense situation causing innocent people to pay the price.

    If he wanted to do something positive for his cause he should have gone to the Ukraine and started a resistance cell to fight the Russian invaders rather than attacking a Diplomat in a foreign country since any person who's studied history knows how things like that can end.
