Next step: remove all Stars of David and Menorahs from Holocaust museums, because non-Jews suffered as well.
Some idiot will no doubt file this lawsuit if they haven't done it already.
 Pick your battles people. Fundamentalist atheists are just as overbearing and obnoxious as fundamentalists of any religion.
Amen to that.
Remove it. The sight is about the victims, not Religious fluffery.
Nor is about affected atheist outrage of the day.
When you have a diverse population, playing favorites with religious symbols should not be on.
Lots of Jews died there too - better put up a symbol for them as well. And probably even the odd wiccan - they should get get one too,

Yeah. Don't forget the atheists.
"It does me no injury for my neighbor to say there are 20 gods, or no god. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg."

and Muslims, probably some Sihks, Buddhists, and Hindus.
While I agree that the cross' creation is purely happenstance and that it really doesn't belong in the museum, I still say who does it hurt? To quote Jefferson:
"It does me no injury for my neighbor to say there are 20 gods, or no god. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg."
I don't think it hurts anyone. It certainly seems to be the touchstone of the day for fashionable rage for the terminally affronted.
