An Ottawa teen accused of beating, drugging and threatening other girls to force them into prostitution has been found guilty of 27 charges following a long trial.

Just another reason I will continue to monitor everywhere and everything my son does online.

Better than what the lawyers had in mind.
Lahaie rejected a joint sentencing submission from the Crown and defence that the teen be released with 12 months of time served and two years of probation.

And generally speaking, when the Crown and defense reach an agreement like that, the judge will go along with it.

"Don't trust any kids out there. It's kind of sad, but make sure you know where your kids are. Make sure you know who your kids' friends are.... And if you have a gut feeling, follow it, because I've been living with that guilt for a while.

I agree. These are sad times we live in. Some parents need to be more involved with thier kids, rather then just sitting them in front of a video screen and walking away.
