Virginia Tech shooting

Two people have been killed in shooting incidents at Virginia Tech University, the site of one of the deadliest massacres in U.S. history, the school said on Thursday.
A campus police officer was killed following a routine traffic stop shortly after noon, and a second victim was found in a nearby parking lot, the school said in a statement. There were witnesses to the shooting.

I hope they capture the guy before anyone else is killed.

There is no longer an active threat on campus.

They believe the gunman is dead.

News suggests the "other victim" was actually the 'perp.

Good they got that bit cleared up.

So the guy opens fire on a police officer, run away and kills himself in a parking lot nearby. What a 'killing spree'.

Hindsight is 20/20.

Very strange:

Chatter indicates that the cop was the intended target of the shooter. Apparently (and allegedly at this point) they knew each other.
