This is an editorial so comments are allowed.

If it makes you happy, you can read the NP article on Karzi being sworn in. Although that's a news item, it reads like an editorial, with plenty of subjective judgements and unproven conclusions.

But since we're so very critical of nations that abuse human rights, Cuba definately is one to stay away from.

Why is this just a "Conservative" issue? Shouldn't Cuba suffer consequences for its jailing of political dissidents?

Sorry, should have said "conservatives" not "Conservatives." Good eye.

The point being that they were insisting a couple of days that teh "MSM" as they like to call it, was liberal (as opposed to Liberal:-). And yet here is a pretty conservative editorial (one of many conservative editorials) from one of Canada's two national newspapers.

Well lets not go to many tropical places where the inhabitants are poor and the governments not democratic. Or have autocrat rulers...maybe we should leave Canada... ;)

Well, I, as a conservative, and trying to ignore my political biases as much as I can, do see some liberal biases by SOME media organizations.

Now, I'll accept Fox News, the National Post, the Wall Street Journal, etc, as right leaning. Because they are, usually for their editorial or pundit based portions of their organizations. I also accept, as I think you do (correct me if I'm wrong), that organizations like MSNBC, Newsweek, and the Washington Post as more left leaning.

I think, the right wing, from my understanding as a conservative, see organizations like CNN and Time magazine, who are seen as more centrist based organizations, are more left-of-center from the choices of their main stories, their investigative journalism pieces, or their covers. Maybe there's just an idiot somewhere making those journalists blatantly biased stories, like CNN's Fact check of an SNL skit a month or so ago. If, let's say, CNN fact checked a SNL skit making fun of the Republicans, then I'd see them as right leaning. I'd also see them as stupid, because it's an SNL skit.

Ray, you have opinions. A big sig with an opinion that is well articulated is fine by me!
