Obviously, the family trusted the guy and had no idea that he'd do this. I'd say the family needs sympathy and the perp needs what's coming to him in prison when the general population finds out he's a child killer.

In fairness, most people don't take good mugshots. As to the girl's parents I'm failing to grasp why you're so down on them? Were the parents of kids who were molested by Catholic priests somehow neglectful for trusting the wrong people?

For some reason I didn't think you would be so judgemental of someones appearance. Guess I was wrong.

OK, good point. He still looks like some criminal creep to me, and so I'm thinking the parents might be too. But, I don't really know, so, as you say, I should suspend judgement.
