Brenda Brenda:
And you cannot expect me trust you. You do not have to carry the child, so there's not really a problem for you if you 'forget'.
Yeah right. 18 years of court ordered slavery to pay for a child that I can't see and can have no word the up bringing of is a HUGE problem.
$1:
You are also not willing to pay for an abortion, nor are you willing to pay child tax benefits or welfare for all those mothers you didn't want to 'pay contraceptive for', am I right?
You wouldn't even notice.
I'd rather not give them any money. But unlike some women I can do the math of what it would cost me to have a child so I'm sure that my recreational activities are not going to put me at risk.
I'm sorry if I have set the standard of personal responsibility too high at $10-$50 a month for the pill or $300-$500 for a IUD that lasts 5 to 10 years (depending on type).
$1:
Anyhow, it is good to know that you do not expect anyone to pay for the hospital costs of the leg you broke while skiing

I expect that it will be paid for, just like if some women needed an abortion she would have it paid for by the system. Accidents and unforeseen complications happen, and it's cheaper to just cover it for everyone.
But I don't undertake risky recreation activities very often, or as my main entertainment.
Brenda Brenda:
BTW, Xort... Who do you think pays for your game of baseball at the local diamond on Sundays? Or the pool?
Recreation, right? All highly subsidized.
I do, via my property taxes and the education tax, and I'd rather not.
But again, you are missing the point. You can still have sex without a birth control pill. You can't swim in a pool that isn't physically there.
And this doesn't even touch on the issue that women (and men) having lots of sex should be using condoms anyway.
