Can't see what's wrong with this. Unlike the Catholic Church they ensured kiddy diddlers couldn't just move on to the next batch of victims....but the list should be shared with the police too.

Part of the problem I think is that some of the individuals on the list may only be "suspected" and not verified. The Scounts being prudent indexed the people to keep them out.

The police though should be able to see the list not as proof but a good idea of who to keep an eye on.

So that they kept those files secret up into the 1990's was wrong. That they keep them secret now? I imagine they're just trying to avoid the furball that may well happen between the Scouts and the CHRC for violating the civil rights of child molesters.

And don't tell me that's not coming because the psychiatry boards are right now being pressured to 'normalize' child molesters.
